Pangolin campfire: evening

So, making a fire? Is a lot easier now that Parker's had a class on it. Also, even though it's nowhere near chilly out, it's just fun to have one. Various bags of junk food and a cooler with drinks have been left behind one log. Parker's trying to figure out if you could make microwave popcorn in a campfire.

Bel wandered by the campfire. "Hey, Parker," he said. "How's it going?"

"Hey, Bel. Not too shabby. I'm about to verify if popcorn needs a microwave. Or if it'll catch fire before it pops." She carefully set the bag next to one of the firepit rocks. "How go your classes? Veronica said she whapped you for last Friday."

"Classes are...interesting," Bel said, thinking of sex ed that morning. He grinned sheepishly. "And yeah, she wasn't happy."

Parker rolled her eyes. "I would expect not. Jeez. Death wish much?" She nudged the popcorn bag with her foot. "What workshop did you have today? If you had one." She grinned. "I lazed on the beach all afternoon."

Alanna came to the campfire, Faithful posing as a scarf. "Parker. I didn't know you knew how to start a fire."

"Hey, Alanna. All down to Callisto. She made us learn in Survival, last session." She grinned. "Hey, Faithful. Enjoying the cabins again?"

"Ah, that explains it. Is she still pissed off about the Angel/Logan thing?" Alanna settled down next to the campfire. Faithful started laughing again for some reason.

It's almost like Xander has a built-in radar for free food.

He waved, and grabbed a wee bag of chips and a drink, before sitting down near Bridge. "Hey, guys."
