Around the Meerkat Cabin [Shortly Before the Luau Ends, Friday Night]
John had snuck away from the campfire very sneakily like and had tiptoed back to investigate a certain cabin. Now, he's just waiting for someone else to show up after making a *handwave* call to him earlier this afternoon.
Cedric took a walk back over to the cabin sites after getting a call from John. He's not entirely sure what to make of the call but he's always willing to listen.
"Hey, you're Cedric?" John asks, keeping his voice low and sneaky like.
"Yes, I am. And you're the fellow who left me a message?" Cedric asks.
"That's me. I need a favor."
"A favor?" Cedric frowns at John. "What sort of favor?"
"I've heard you've got some skill in the magic department. I need that."
Cedric? Frowning again. "What for?"
John points at the cabin. "Can you make that thing go invisible?"
"What, the cabin?" Cedric's already shaking his head. "I don't have any reason to do that."
"Good for the brotherhood of men," John says very seriously.
"I'm not involved in this prank war."
John gets desperate. "I'll pay you."
"I don't need money."
More desperation. "I'll find a way to smuggle tea and crumpets over to you."
Cedric stops arguing and thinks for a moment. "That's quite the deal."
"Will you do it?"
Cedric sighs and says, "I suppose."
He heads off in the direction of the Seahorse cabin and retrieves his wand.
"If this gets me in trouble, I'll turn you into a rodent," Cedric says, wand at the ready.
"Like that's never happened before," John mutters.
Cedric points his wand at the cabin, speaks the incantation for the invisibility spell and watches at the cabin disappears.
"It's still there, not gone forever but you can't see it. I'll come and take the spell off when you're ready."
"Thanks!" John smiles proudly at...nothing.
[OOC: Meerkat cabin is invisible and the doors are locked. Nothing has been damaged. If the Meerkats get into their cabin, they will not be invisible. Spell will be lifted, I promise!]
