Second Floor Hallway, after lunch

After working out in the gym, training Phoebe, Bel headed back upstairs to take a shower and change into clean clothes (now that the washing machines and dryers had given up their hostages). He decided to go the long way and actually take the stairs and hallways and walk instead of shimmering directly to his room.

"Hey," Bel said. He felt more relaxed around Angel now that he had talked to him about his guilt -- and the fact that he hadn't heard, was ignoring, or (as usual) was completely oblivious to the "boyfriend" comments when they were wee. "Just hit the gym, and now I'm hoping the showers don't go on strike today."

"Could always borrow mine if you need to," Angel said. "Bathroom in 238 didn't go on strike. Guess John and I spoil it enough."

Angela was on her way back from the library and decided to check if there was anything going on in the second-floor common room. Rounding a corner, she had to quickly stop to avoid running into Bel or Angel.

There might have been a little staring going on, but she quickly blinked out of it as her cheeks flushed hot. "Excuse me," she said. "I wasn't trying to -- you know. Interrupt, or anything."

Bel debated shimmering away. Or dying.

"It's, um, not what it looks like," he said. But how was he going to explain being half-held up by a mostly naked Angel?

"Of course," Angela said, flicking a bit of hair away from her face. "You were ... sparring, right? In the middle of the hall, because..." Her voice trailed off, and she fixed her gaze on her feet. "Okay, this is so not my business, but -- do you guys need help or anything?"

Bel stood up. "No, thanks, we're, um, we're fine, really," he said, wondering just how red he was.
