Thorin had not seen Lucille since the unfortunate business with childhood that affected many of the land. Which was why he almost hesitated before walked into the room to find a meal for himself.

It had been quite unfortunate that they had met during that weekend. Lucille did her best not to look awkward.

Was the best way to ignore this whole business to offer him tea or was it better not to.

Would she mind an interruption from her roommate terribly much? Cassandra hoped not.

She tried to make as little of a ruckus as possible as she walked into the common room, and picked a chair to settle in.

She looked towards the television.

She... had no idea what Lucille was watching.

Perhaps she should ask?

Lucille looked up. "Cassandra," she said, smiling. "Please, join me if you like. There is tea for both of us."

And opera.
