Jasper felt lazy today. A week spent around dinosaurs being little to nothing should have reinvigorated him but it had just made him lazy. He'd woken up late from sleep littered with nightmares and come down to the common room as soon as he could

"What are we watching, pretty thing?" Ezra asked, wandering into the common room. Wasn't his common room, and he hadn't actually met this guy before, but neither mattered to him.

He'd been bored. That was all that mattered.

"The news," he said, raising an eyebrow at the endearment but saying nothing about it. "It's that or religious programming, choose your poison."

"Both are equally terrible," Ezra decided, merrily traipsing along to the fridge. No, there wasn't anything of his in there. He wasn't going to care. "News tend to be depressing, and the less said about religious programming, the better."

"Well, feel free to try and find something," Jasper said, holding up the remote and giving it a wave. "Maybe you'll have some magic touch where the television suddenly starts showing something decent."

Just about anything was better than what was on right now.
