After spending some time this morning playing with a puppy who was so. glad to have a kid to play with, Sia wandered downstairs, looking for something to do.

"What're you doing?"

"...um." Tony had a very large coffee to deal with all of this now. "Making breakfast?"

"Did you make enough for everyone?" she asked, like she expected the answer to be yes.

It was only polite, Tony.

"I'll put a waffle down for you," Tony promised, grabbing another plate from one of the cabinets. "You can probably put whipped cream on it."

BAD IDEA, TONY.

So Lex had woken up and realised he wasn't in his room at Excelsior, which, as far as Lex was concerned, was awesome.

But then he'd also realised he was hungry and there was no food, which was decidedly less awesome, so he'd wandered around until he'd found an adult...well, older kid. "Good morning!"

"...hello," Tony replied, trying to remember any redheaded guys at school. GOOD LUCK THERE, TONY.

THEY'D LAUGH ABOUT IT SOMEDAY, WELL, LEX PROBABLY WOULD.

Encouraged by the way he hadn't been told to get lost, Lex scrambled over to Tony. "What're you doing?"

WOULD IT BE MANIACAL, THOUGH?

"I'm making some... frozen waffles. Want one?"

Oh god, it was so loud everywhere. Alec needed to hide.

"Is the coffee being shared?"

Getting right to the important questions, apparently.

"Coffee is being shared with people who have finished puberty," Tony said with a nod. "I'm afraid of what would happen if the kids got any."

"It can't be worse than what's going on outside," Alec hypothesized. Probably wrongly. It'd been a while since he'd actually known little kids. "There are pony rides."

"BREAKFAST," Dorry announced upon entering the room. Which was the same thing she'd announced on entering the 4th floor common room, and the third floor common room.

And the third floor bathroom because she got lost, but she wasn't about to share that story with whoever was in here making breakfast. (She assumed it wasn't Mum because there was no smell of burnt toast, and Mum always burned the toast. Uncle Frank, maybe? He did good toast.)

If it was Uncle Frank, she supposed she ought to be nice, so Dorry finished that off with a "Please?"

"If you like frozen waffles, you're in luck," Tony called back.

"Who doesn't like frozen waffles?" Dorry rolled her eyes. However... "You're not Uncle Frank!" He probably knew that, but it still bore pointing out.

"People with bad taste," Tony replied. "And no. My name is Tony. Please don't call me Uncle Tony. That would be weird."
