It was both rather exciting and rather nerve-wracking at the same time to be the one in the lobby today. It was weird that Topher was kind of excited for a dance for the first time in a while, and that he wasn't planning to throw jello at anyone. He wondered if this was what maturity felt like.

Anyway, he was in a good mood as he made his way over to Yeul's table. "Hey, can I get two?"

"Handwavy coming right up," Topher said, extracting some phenomenally crumpled bills out of his pocket and forking them over. "Huh, this is actually way easier than waiting for my roommate to have a turn with this and then trying to steal them from the box."

He was mostly kidding. Mostly.
