by the time Tara mde it to the roof, she'd overheard enough in the halls to be almost certain her weird dream wasn't a dream at all. But, thinking it over, she felt like she'd gotten off easy in some ways.
She hadn't been in detention. She hadn't gotten hurt. She hadn't died. She'd taught a class and been afraid of her own shadow and found a book, and that was --
That was over. She'd feel better once she had some fresh air, she told herself.
