Sia had gone to the common room looking to make dinner, really. Unlike some family members, she'd figured out pretty quickly that putting dry pasta in boiling water and throwing some sauce on it was really all you had to do, and no one even had to push her into doing it ( Read more... )

Dave was walking down the hall when he heard the phone ringing in the common room. "Avoiding telemarketers or something?" he asked, popping into the room.

"Someone has decided it would be funny to call and threaten me. He's about to get threatened back," she replied, pushing a button to make the phone stop ringing before it went to voicemail.

Maybe he'd read her thoughts, or maybe he was just making a reasonable guess based on Sia's current expression. It totally depended on what her player decided, there.

"I'm reconsidering whether edible is a requirement," Sia said, though she was raising an eyebrow at him being able to figure that out which was what her player decided.

"I have lived places where it apparently wasn't," Toby had to admit. "But so far Fandom's managed to avoid that fate." Mostly because he didn't know Karla well enough to have ever encountered her 'cooking'.
