As was his habit, Ulrik had risen fairly early, weekend or no. He'd gone to the common room in hopes that someone might already be there preparing breakfast... to no avail.

Soon after Ulrik arrived, Sholeh sleepily entered the common room. She had stayed up very late last night, reading, and then gotten up at her normal time. Stupid body.

"Oh!" she said, catching sight of Ulrik. "I didn't know anyone was here! Good--" yawn "--morning?"

Sholeh smiled at that. "You can't cook?" she asked, head tilted slightly. "Is it the newfangled stove? I'm not quite sure how to use it, either."

Rather, she was intimidated by it. What if she broke it? Though, honestly, a stove was a stove. The buttons might differ, but the concept remained the same.
