While some people were emoing it up on the roof, other people were... okay, also coming to emo it up on the roof. Or reflect. Wesley preferred reflect.
Tara didn't come up on the roof often, but it seemed like a good place to sit and reflect on the last day of the year. She had a book at hand, but mostly she wanted to just ... be.
Well. She could be with other people.
"Oh," she said to the new guy. "Hi. Nice ... day for the roof."
"I'm starting to suspect the dorms are even moreso," Loki replied like the sulky teenage boy he was. Look, even gods didn't get to avoid that phase. "Must they force us to live in one room with someone else?"
Anna was--not exactly emoing. Okay, she was emoing, but also, she had realized that the roof was higher up than anywhere she'd been in possibly her entire life, and she wanted to see what the view was like. So she could know what she would be looking at while she brooded.
She wasn't expecting it to be already occupied. "Hello again," she said softly.
Anakin had made a habit of climbing the Massassi temple on Yavin 4 when he'd been a student at the Jedi Academy.
Now that he was back at school, climbing the building seemed like a thing to do even if it wasn't the same thing, doing it by himself.
So he made it up to the roof, but not in the usual way -- a messy head of brown hair poked up over the edge of the roof just before Anakin hauled himself up over the edge and dropped down to sit.
