Simon, being said thin air she was talking to, really had only one way to answer that question while he was invisible.

And that was to let go of the campaign message light pattern he'd been hanging up so it could be seen from the lobby. No longer affected by his power, the glow sticks and chili lights rippled back into being visible.

Yes, he'd got it secure.

"YES!" Kenzi punched the air in glee, and did her little victory dance. "Let's see them top *this* for visibility!" She beamed at Simon, then considered. "There's got to be away to hide you so it's bigger surprise, when it's visible again. Hmm. Maybe hanging onto the power cord, and backing further away?"

So this mystery nomination thing had been an utter surprise to Wesley at first, but yesterday he thought he'd figured it out.

And then he happened to stumble upon this. Why was he only moderately surprised?

Kenzi's eyes widened, and she waved her arms dramatically at Simon to try and cue him to concealment. "Wait wait for it wait!"

Okay. There was a moment of temple-massaging. Then:

Yeah, Simon hadn't had a chance to make anything disappear, not with that little warning. He looked a little sheepish.

"This is all her," he said from the stairs, just in case. "Her idea."
