"Finally," Sookie sighed, looking up from her own phone. "Finally, finally a nice day. We suck for burying our noses in gadgets when it's this nice out, for that matter," she added a little ruefully.
"Well how else am I supposed to know what a chipmunk is?" Freddie joked, holding up his pear-shaped tablet to show off a picture of an adorable chipmunk. "But you're right. But I'm not exactly the sun-tanning type, either. Not that you get much of a chance to do that in Seattle, actually."
"But y'all have the Space Needle. Not that I know what that thing's for, but I figured you guys traded nice weather to have it or something," Sookie drawled.

Yes, he was nerd central, sometimes.
He thankfully didn't literally trip over Sookie, but he did stop when he wandered near her.
"Beautiful day, isn't it?" he greeted.
