"I never did," she pointed up out. "I asked you to surrender. And now I'm asking you to come back and share your marshmallows. And maybe tell me why anyone could ever like this manga."

"So your new 'asking' involves yelling at me?" he teased, moving back toward her, bag of sugary deliciousness dangling carelessly from his hand.

"It worked, didn't it?" She gave him a big smile and reached for the bag.

"Not yet it didn't," Jaime countered, pulling back and holding the bag juuuuust out of reach.

"Ah!" Missing the bag had her falling slightly off her chair, and she pouted as she regained herself. But I shared my cookies and my water!"

"Threw them at me?" He smirked. "I threw some marshmallows right back at you."

"Three marshmallows?" she folded her arms and eyed him. "Even jumbo-sized ones that's totally just being a tease and you know it!"

"How many is fair then?" He can throw some more at her!

"By now? At least half!" Interest, you see.

"Half?" Isn't that a bit much? Jaime's expression surely suggested that he thought so.

"Well, you don't seem to be eating them." She pointed out. "Why should it matter how many you let me have?"

Momoko sighed, trying not to grin. "Fine, you can pour the marshmallows into my lap and keep the bag. Then you totally won't notice how many are missing!"
