"I can try," Anna volunteered. "At least, if you want the kind of help that tastes like coffee."

She had figured out the coffee maker. Knowing where she was could be next.

Narrowing her eyes as she searched her brain through the countless lore it held, Ariel frowned. "Coffee?"

It sounded...familiar, but she couldn't be certain. The morning left her discombobulated as it was, with an underlying dread that the longer she was away from Thundarr, the more stupid mistakes he'd make.

"If you say it that way," Anna decided as she turned to fill two mugs, "you probably need it. Black. Are you having the not-sure-where-I-am-thing too?"

"That's it exactly," Ariel agreed with a nod. "Not only where am I, but where my trusty companions may be as well."

Truth be told, she was more concerned with that. Thundarr...did not do well by himself.

"But you aren't with the Planeteer guy over there, are you?" Anna checked. "'Cause he sounds like he's looking for people."

"Planeteer?" Ariel asked, pronouncing the strange word as if it may hold some mystic power. One could never be too sure with such things. "No, I...do not think so. My companions are Thundarr the Barbarian and Ookla the Mok. They are...difficult to miss."

"Those are completely insane names,"Anna said, then brought a hand over her mouth apologetically. "Wow. Sorry. I think being lost has me all blurty."

"I agree with you that being so lost is very disorientating," said Ariel with a bit of an arched brow, "but Thundarr and Ookla are completely typical names where I am from. And I am Princess Ariel; what might your presumably normal name be?"

"Ana Stern," Anna said, with equally arched brows. "Princess? Seriously?"

Ariel nodded. "From a powerful and well known clan of sorcerers," she said. "Perhaps not so well known here..."
