Westley had no idea where he was when he woke up. It was a spacious room, and as he quickly dressed in unfamiliar clothes and left, he realized he must be inside the castle. Princess Ariel had a feeling that sticking around inside the castle wasn't going to be much help, and so she set out to find her companions and more about her current situation. This lead her outside and, as she passed the stables, she heard the whinnying of a horse and went to go have a closer look.

"Now at least this is familiar," she said, pleased by this discovery and reaching over for one of the horses' muzzles. "Hello, friend."

Westley was busy polishing a saddle when she entered, and didn't hear her come in. But then he heard a girl's voice and he quickly emerged, all hopeful energy.

"Buttercup?"

Oh. No.

Ariel lifted her head with surprise at the sound of a human voice, and met the question with one of her own.

"Thundarr?"

Nope. Definitely not.

"Hello," she said in greeting, with a nod toward the young man. "My name is Princess Ariel; is this your stable?"

"I tend to it," Westley answered. "It isn't mine, strictly speaking, but I've been responsible for it for years."

"You haven't happened to have had a barbarian named Thundarr and a Mok called Ookla pass through here, have you?" Ariel wondered. "Possibly looking for horses?"

Ariel nodded, seeming not too surprised. "I had a feeling you might say that," she admitted. "And thank you; that's much appreciated. I don't suppose...I might ask to borrow a horse? I can travel much faster on one."
