Obligatory holiday call to Ellie down, and Chuck had taken his book and a 'breakfast' of a glass of Jelly Beans outside and found the he could add Peeps to the menu (so long as he was quick enough to get hold of them before the three second rule applied). The island didn't want him to be healthy today, so who was he to try and derail that plan?

He was coming back now, towel draped around his neck and wet hair clinging to his head when he spotted someone on the deck, talking to himself while reading.
"The book's not talking back, is it?" Percy asked because he couldn't really rule that out.
