Sixth Floor, Kappa Delta Gremlin Sorority Meeting, Tuesday Afternoon/Evening

Apr 19, 2011 12:14

Sorority met later than usual today, and Emma and Quinn had taken over the entire sixth floor. There were big fluffy pillows everywhere, with every kind of snack and non-alcoholic beverage you could mod dream up, and a stack of dictionaries, encyclopedias, and various reference books ( Read more... )

Kate wasn't actually studying. Her only remaining final was on acting, so she couldn't exactly study for that, could she? And her independent coursework... could wait a bit.

So, mostly she was snacking and considering tagging along with Emma when the other girl went to work, since she was still kinda needing to talk to Eric. As a seventeen-year-old, for once.

Karla was snacking a lot--but mostly sticking to things like fruits and vegetables after her weekend overload of sugar. She wasn't really sure how to study for her "Dealing with Idiots" class, but she was pouring over her notes for Nation-building.

There were some real world applications on the line, after all.

Have a friend quiz you on your notes, get someone to proof-read your paper, KDG girls will be up almost all night for sleepover study fun!

Studying. Yuck. Ariel wanted to be able to focus, but she just couldn't do it! Not when other fun sleepover things and, hello, ball pit were distracting her. So she kept looking up from any of her notes, scanning the crowd of other girls and looking for a spark of boredom in one of them, too, so she could at least have a partner in rebelling...

Caroline had her study things all gathered to look over for her Italian final. She'd not gotten very far earlier in the week, so this was as good a time as any to try and finish reviewing her vocabulary.

Ugh, there was only so much copying she felt like doing before she started staring around and wondering if she shouldn't give it up already. But at least Italian could be useful to her future, right?

Emma was around for the most part, except for the chunk of the evening when she had to go to work.

Quinn was there, though you'd have to get her attention away from her laptop.

IMing with Brittany in Spanish totally counted as studying. Even if Brit's Spanish tended to turn into babbling about chihuahuas when she got confused, which was often.

If she's not napping in the ball pit.

Napping! In the ball pit! Don't be absurd!

If Jane was to be doing any napping, it would have been where she was sitting and where she could perfectly well pretend she had only been resting her eyes for a bit, thank you.

She would be quite pleased to assist any of the girls in their studying, while also using the opportunity to get things a little more situated for the examination she'd be giving in her own class later this week.
