"Mama would let me," Henry pouted. Also: lied. Which Bobby would almost definitely know, but it was worth a shot.

Bobby... tried very hard not to laugh at this statement. And mostly succeeded. "Kiddo, you'd have more luck trying that the other way around," he pointed out. Because, well. See above. Grownup!Bobby probably had let him do so at some point.

Henry pouted for a second before perking up a little. "Daddy, can I tell you a secret?"

"Sure," Bobby nodded. "What's up?"

Henry thought about just telling him in his head, like he would with Mama, but he tugged Bobby's hand so he could 'whisper' in his ear. "Auntie Emma gived me coffee earlier. Don't tell Mama?"

"She said I can hide it from Mama, too, in my head, but it sounded hard so I just told you so I can't get in trouble," Henry replied.

"Mama says it's gonna stunt my growths," Henry said, looking alarmed.

"I think that might be a myth," Bobby mused. Oh, Sookie was going to love that.

"A made up story," Bobby tried to explain. "And you caaaaaan," he singsonged. "But then you won't have any room left for pizza."

"Pizza?" Behold the way Henry's eyes lit up. "Do I gotta eat vegetables too? Or drink milk? Mama says if we're having pizza I gotta eat something healthy to go with it!"

"At least one slice with green peppers on it," Bobby said, after thinking about that one for a moment. That counted, right?

Best. Parent. Ever. Clearly.
