Bod had spent most of the morning packing so his afternoon was completely free. It was warmer than it had been and knowing that he'd been in a cold environment tomorrow, Bod was taking advantage.

When she saw Bod hanging out on the deck, Kitty had to stop by instead of heading straight inside. "You're making me wish it was like, June again," she said.

"It feels almost warm enough," Bod said, tilting his head down when he heard Kitty's voice. "I'm quite in favor of this weather. I won't get a sunburn."

"You say that now, but just wait till you find yourself pink where you're not supposed to be," she said, and frowned. "That sounded weird." Not that it stopped her from shrugging and taking a seat.
