Squall clutched a bouquet of roses to his breast and got down on one knee in front of Rinoa's door. He took a deep breath, and began belting his declaration of love to the heavens.

Rinoa had hoped that if she waited long enough, he would just give up and go away. Ugh. Public displays of affection were downright unseemly, and Squall's obsession with her was disturbing.

Finally, she realized he was unlikely to depart of his own volition. So, reluctantly, she opened the cabin door.

"Are you finished?"

Squall held out the flowers to her. "I will NEVER be finished, my love!" he declared. "My love for you burns in my heart!!! It will always go on, forever!"
