Angela wasn't so much with the table jumping, but...

"What 'bout me?" Hey if he got to be awesome, she was gonna be awesome too. It was only right.

"What about you?" Hannibal asked from his spot on the ground. Yeah, he hadn't gotten up yet. "Whaddya you wanna be?"

"Can't I be awesome too?" And she tried to help drag him up on the floor. Trying to help, but possibly more of a hindrance. Oh well.

"I 'unno," Hannibal said, acting like some proverbial dead weight to see how strong she was. "Are you awesome? I'm the King of Awesome so I'm the only one that can make people awesome."

Once again Lois was spending her weekend covered head to toe in dirt and leaves and grass and whatever else you'd expect a child to roll in.

"That was a cool fall!" The only way it would have been better for her is if he landed in a huge pile of mud.

"It was the best!" Hannibal crowed, scrambling back to his feet and climbing up on the table again. "Come on, you can see the whole world from up here!"

"'Kay!" Like Lois needed much convincing to do something potentially dangerous. She scrambled to get up on the table, managing to get mud everywhere in the process of doing so. She pretty much left a trail behind her like that kid from Family Circus.

There was a look of a disappointment when she got up there. "You can't see the whole world from here! Where's Disneyland?"

"Um." Hannibal didn't have an answer to that so he just pointed. "It's over dere! It's closed right now so we can't see it! The rides will be alive in a few hours!"

Clark was spending his morning exploring. It was very intense and meant he basically crawled onto the deck, eyes wide at spying Hannibal jumping and rolling.

He could so do that! Clark sprang to his feet with a grin, "Awesome!"

"It is!" Hannibal agreed, climbing back to his feet. "I was flying! Didja see me fly?"

"You flew real good!" Clark enthused, having decided the tops of tables wasn't too high to be scary. "Wanna go again?"

"Yeah!" Hannibal nodded, already heading to top of the table. "Wanna come too? We can fly together! You can see the whole world from up here!"

That still wasn't true.

George was pretty little. Not that he'd admit that. But he was aware of it enough that watching the bigger kids jump off the table was way better than trying to push in and do it himself.

Besides watching meant you knew stuff, and stuff was good to know.

So he was peering around the edge of the deck, totally entranced.

Hannibal didn't see George until he'd gotten up on the table and jumped off it again, tumbling onto his side and laughing.

"Whatcha watching?" he asked when he spotted George. "Didja see me fly?"

"Ye almost did touch the sun," George enthused. "Gonna try to next time?"

"Yep!" Hannibal was already back on the table. "Wanna come? We can live on the sun!"

Bobby had had a very busy night of Not Sleeping At All Really, and yet... was strangely energetic today for someone who hadn't slept. Huh.

"How do you know?" he asked, frowning thoughtfully up at Hannibal.

"Know what?" Hannibal asked, glancing over at Bobby. "I know a lotta things."

"That you're most awesome," Bobby clarified.

"Oh, I know that cuz I am," Hannibal informed him. "Cuz I'ma King and nothing is more awesome than a king."
