Third Floor Hallway, Saturday Afternoon

Leia was not happy. Wherever this place was that she'd awoken in, it wasn't her rooms in the Imperial palace. It wasn't the Imperial palace at all, or even Coruscant.

So now she was stalking from her room and through the halls of the third floor. Someone was going to give her answers. Now.

Ben'd had just about enough crazy from Peter in his room, thanks, which was why he was making a beeline for Anyone Else's Place--Tahiri, Jaina, he wasn't that picky--and was currently racing down the hallway.

But Aunt Leia looked pissed.

He stopped and blinked. "Are you all right?" he asked cautiously.

Why was his danger sense blaring?

"Who are you?" Leia demanded, her hand going to the lightsaber, the one that had once belonged to Ben's namesake (not that she knew that), on her belt. At least she'd still had that when she woke up. "What is this place?"

"Um, I'm Ben," he said. "Are you Leia?"

Maybe everyone but him had random projections of their brains running around...

"Of course I am," she snapped. She wasn't surprised he knew who she was; she was the senator representing the throne world in the restored Imperial senate, after all. "Where am I? This isn't Coruscant."

Death didn't say anything; she just stood in a nook and watched, eyes glinting beneath the hood of her cloak.

She liked this girl.

Leia sensed someone watching her and turned, seeking the person out. "Who are you?" she said.

"I'm Death," Death answered. "But I think you knew that, didn't you?"

"I'm well acquainted with death," Leia said warily. She'd killed countless rebels since she'd fallen to the Dark Side.
