Hey, Bobby couldn't really say anything considering his own meal-preparation methods usually involved picking up the phone and dialing. Or going to a common room to see if someone had already taken care of the food issue.

Like now, for instance.

"Hey, Sookie!" he greeted with a grin. "You sharing?" he'd already picked up a carton of chicken-fried rice even as he asked. One of these days, that presumptuousness was gonna get him in trouble.

"What if I said no and that I already got my cooties all over that?" she wondered.

"I'd make this face at you," Bobby said, and then demonstrated his best sadface.

"Oh, well. Then it's good that none of that was true," she said seriously, tsking.

The fourth floor common room seemed a little too crowded, so Hoshi limped upstairs.

"I'm raiding all of your ice!" she announced as she made her way over to the freezer.

"Are you making margaritas or something?" Sookie asked curiously, peering into the kitchen.

"Mmmm, margaritas would be nice," said Hoshi. "But sadly, no. I had a really good match at Fight Club tonight, but I suspect I'll have bruises everywhere tomorrow."

"Oooh, see if there're some frozen veggies. Those usually work great as ice packs," Sookie said with a wince.

Hurley had his ham sandwich, so he left the common room with the crazy girl and wandered up to his floor.

"Whoa, hey Sookie," Hurley said, wandering in.

"Hi," Sookie replied, waving over the back of the sofa. "There's Chinese if you want some. I was lazy tonight."

"Everyone deserves some time off," Hurley said. He raised his sandwich. "Apparently I went on my expedition too soon. I woulda saved myself time if I'd just come in here at the right time."

Sookie shrugged. "The nice thing is that there'll be tons of this left over if you get hungry later," she assured him.

One of these days, Roy was going to have to stop mooching food off people and fend for himself. Today was not that day, and, unless he got some actual money from somewhere, tomorrow wasn't looking good either. He'd figured out how it worked by now, so when he smelled Chinese, he headed for the common room with his best 'look at me I'm nice feed me' smile on his face.

"Hi, there," he said as he entered, looking hopeful.

"Hi!" Sookie said with a perky wave. "If you're hungry, help yourself. There's nothing worth foraging for in the fridge, anyway."

"What gave me away?" Roy asked wryly, already reaching for a container of General Tso's chicken. "Thanks," he said, then, "Are there any chopsticks?"

"I've been here long enough to learn that when there's food in a common room, I need to offer it immediately or else people will just sit there and look pitiful," Sookie said wisely. "And I don't know how to use chopsticks, myself, but I'm pretty sure they tossed some in there!"
