Raven had been trying to make more of an effort to listen to the radio, so after hearing on Wednesday night that Anakin had talked to Max and then on Thursday that Max had been in a fight, she had confused mixed emotions. Mat was finished with his classes and was in search of someone to entertain him.

"Hello," he said with a smile, flopping onto a sofa. "The tiny wet people are bloody strange."

"I am an empath," Raven reminded him, still laughing. "I would be able to tell if you were innocent or not." Well, only if he felt guilty about his actions, which she doubted, but that was beside the point, really.
