Tony had a couple of pizzas and some bottles of pop out to celebrate the return of Darkest Night. He settled down on the couch to watch the vampire detective Raymond Dark and his eyes and ears in the daylight, James Taylor Grant, battle a cursed pie shop.
"Totally," Dinah had to agree. Hey, there'd been dancing at the lodge, but not dancing she could do! "And then a carnival, I think I heard. With games and rides and foooood." She grinned, did a little shimmy in her seat. "It's going to be great."
"Games like, oh, throwing balls at cans, to win a prize? Dunking people in a tank? Pie?" Dinah was a fan of pie, yay. "And carousels and maybe a some other good rides, if we're lucky."
"I know this first game from festivals," Firekeeper said with a thoughtful frown. "But not these others. And, rides? Only things for riding I know is vehicles and horses."
"They're like-- Hmm. Have you seen a carousel?" Dinah wondered. "It looks kind of like a merry-go-round from the park? But it has mechanical horses on it. And music." Okay, that sounded weird when she tried to explain. "And Ferris Wheels, they're huuuuge. They're a wheel that revolves with these seats on it, so you can go up up up and get a look at everything from up high." Maybe that made sense? "And maybe bumper cars. That would be awesome. Those little cars you can drive and crash into other people without getting hurt because they don't go very fast."
Dinah wrinkled her nose, then admitted, "Yeah, probably. It's just too different, I think. I can't explain it right. Still, the idea's to have fun." She grinned. "We can at least beat the games and win toys together."
"Hello, Firekeeper!" Merlin was now upright and perhaps a bit too cheerful about a cheesy television show that probably rivaled BBC quality graphics. "Blind Seer!"
"You think they would have been minding Blind Seer there?" she asked. While people in Fandom's first reaction to Blind Seer seemed to be caution, most outside Fandom went with outright fear. It made traveling difficult sometimes.
Blind Seer wasn't quite as serious about the show, but where Firekeeper went, so went he.
"Is about time show come back!" she commented as they found a spot on the couch. "Hello, Tony."

"I think perhaps I will need to see before I understand," Firekeeper admitted sheepishly.
