4th Floor Common Room - Friday Evening

Pretty much the best part of this week was that it was it was over.  Also that there had been teddy bear samurai/ninha fighting in History today  That was awesome.

Beyond that?  Total loss of a week, and Rose was watching it go out to the backdrop of a Project Runway marathon.

...not that she was interested in the show of course.  Just that there

Hayley wandered into the common room, a vacant smile on her face.

"Ooooh, what's on the TV?"

"Some bad reality show," Rose said, giving her a bit of a wave. "I don't even know."

Hayley walked over closer and sat down.

"I'm still not up on all this stuff."

"It's only been a few weeks," Rose pointed out. "You got time."

Kyle flopped over one of the couch arms. "Why do these people care so much about clothes?"

"Cause they wanna get paid for making clothes," Rose said. She eyed him. "What's up, Kyle?"

He looked up at her from his slumping position. "You, if we're getting technical."

Rose grabbed a pillow and leaned over to try to thwap him with it. "You're crazy-technicaly, yeah."

Cal had had a very successful day, what with getting the first paper out and not killing himself at basketball. So he decided he'd earned himself a reward of just hanging out and doing nothing, drifting to the common room. He gave an idle glance to the TV as he headed for the fridge to grab a pop (good thing about having cheap Faygo in the fridge? No one else seemed to ever want to drink it).

He tilted his head at the TV while he took a sip.

"Clothing design?"

He should be a detective.

"Nope, cooking show," Rose teased. "See?"

"If this is a cooking show," Cal said, smirking a little as he nodded to the models on the screen, "how come they all look like they never eat?"

"They're really crappy cooks," she replied instantly.

It's not very often that Worf enters a common room. And even then a certain show about a gal who tells rumors has to be on.

However he needed prune juice and his stash on this floor was well stocked.

He stood at the counter and watched the show, not understanding it one iota.

"What is the nature of this program?" he demanded to know.

Rose looked over at him with a grin. "They're fashion designers. Making dresses out of newspaper."

Worf glared/stared at the screen before looking back at Rose.

"Why?"

"Because they're on tv?" she suggested, trying not to snicker.

Andy was bored so he wandered until he found an occupied common room. "Oh hey, Project Runway," he observed happily as he came in.

"They're making dresses out of newspaper," Rose informed him. "Also hi."

"Hi," Andy said. "I don't know what's more awesome, watching them get all bitchy at each other or how deluded some of them are about what actually is in good taste."

"I kinda keep hoping they whip out the scissors and stab each other," Rose admitted.
