Your weapon is broken! What do you do? Is it possible to make use of the weapon you have, if it shatters, stops working, or is otherwise damaged? What might you find in your general vicinity on the island that you can use as its stead?

And remember, there is no shame in running for your life, if you're overpowered and unarmed.

Azula shrugged. "Not really. I was making conversation. It seemed like the thing to say."

Azula and normal small talk should never mix.

Oddly, that bit of honesty had Ino liking her a tiny bit more.

Funny that.

Ino's eyes were darkly amused.

She had a point and Azula acknowledged this with a bow of her head. Yes, she was arrogant and haughty and thought 90% of the population were beneath her but she wouldn't be where she was if she didn't acknowledge instruction where needed.

"I've had my Fang taked from me before," she really, really did not look pleased at the reminder of that particular incident. "I find, in this case, fists work well. Teeth, too, against enemy who is not Beast."

She grinned, then, "And to speak of such- have not yet met any who could take Blind Seer's fangs or claws. He not be pleased with anyone who take my Fang from me." Blind Seer gave a nicely-timed yawn just then, showing off an impressive array of very sharp teeth.

"I think I've got sort of an ace in the hole with this one," Turtle said with a grin, "especially since the weapon is just there so I can save the shin kick for the right moment."

"And if the shinkick is my broken weapon? I've got loads of worse problems."

Mat smiled. "The nice thing about learning the quarterstaff is as long as you have a tree branch, you have a weapon," he said. "The ashandarei I use is Power-wrought, which means that if it shatters, my luck has definitely run out and another weapon really isn't going to help me escape my head on a chopping block."
