Shilo walked by and stopped. And then coughed. And then held her nose while asking, "Uh, Turtle... why are you destroying school property?"

"...and what do you do if you're elected?" Shilo asked.

"If elected," Turtle said, with just enough smile to keep it from sounding like a rehashed, by-the-books speech, "I will stand as a representative for the student body of Fandom High. It would be my responsibility to act as a bridge between my classmates and my teachers, communicating to the faculty what can be done to improve our experience here and doing everything I can to make it happen. I'll be the head of the group that puts together big dances and events and really ups the quality of student life here at this school. In short, it's pretty much God awesome."
