While he was getting pretty damn tired of the whole cabin thing, Chuck would have been stupid not to take advantage of an already lit fire and the new bag of marshmallows he found in the kitchen. He wasn't quite sure who kept buying the marshmallows but Zefron bless them

Zayne made his way out to his own campfire. He was pretty sure he hadn't actually been part of a gathering of people at this fire. He found this odd.

"Good evening," he told the group as he took a seat.

"'lo."

That was "Hello" with marshmallow in your mouth.

"Is that a marshmallow in your mouth?" Zayne asked. It seemed like a reasonable question.

Chuck held up a finger for a moment as he finished eating. "Yeah. Want one?"

He had long given up hoarding them.

Raven had spent the earlier portion of the evening alone in her alcove, meditating on what Karla had told her and today's conversation with Professor Skywalker. She still was not sure what she should do, but the prospect of allowing herself to feel was undeniably exciting. She heard voices from people around a campfire outside and was drawn toward them for a taste of what she might finally allow herself.

"Hello," she said in shy greeting as she joined the group.

"Hi, Rachel," Claire said with a wave.
