Main Campfire; Tuesday Evening [ 07/07 ].

Turtle was thinking about going out to do her campfire jumping to meet new people and catch up with old people alive, but decided she'd take the hopping a little further and just go and get a good one going at the main campfire. She even took a trip down to the store so she had plenty of materials for s'mores, hot dogs, and there was even a cooler ( Read more... )

"Turtle! Hi!" Elle yelled and waved from a good many feet away, walking slowly over towards the main campfire in her baby pink three inch wedges. She was carrying a blue blanket and held it in front of her, against her short boob hugging tank. Her midriff was bare and wrapped around her small waist was a cute, rhinestone necklace, its excess bouncing against her designer jean clad thigh.

"How are you?" she asked when near, settling her blanket over a log so she could sit carefully down.

"Aw, that's so sad," she said, poking out her bottom lip. "A unicorn not fitting in. Understood being here and I hope he went back to where he belongs and his majestic self is roaming in peace allowing others to just awe over his power."

Anyway. Her marshmallow was done.

"It's done!" Kind of burnt but it was done.

Turtle snorted a little. "Here," she said, passing over some chocolate and marshmallows. "Finish her off! Have you had any workshops yet, Elle?"

Elle made her s'more easy enough and leaned way over to take a bite so she didn't get any of the sticky messy stuff on anything but her fingers and mouth.

She nodded, chewing and swallowing before answering. "One. Ethics and Etiquette with Deadpool and Professor Rogers. Have you?"

"Also one," Turtle nodded. "Mythbusting with Tyler. What do you think of Mister Deadpool?"

Because this? Could be really good.

"Well, having met him already on the bus ride here, I think he's super cool and funny and I learned that he didn't just wear the costumes to be entertaining, no, Professor Rogers clarified for me that Professor Deadpool has a skin condition, the poor man. Jan must not seem to mind since apparently he takes off his mask in front of her. Enough to get glitter in it. So hopefully it's not too bad. Is it bad? Do you know?"

Awww. That was a little disappointing on the crack factor, but it really got something pulling in Turtle's chest. "I don't, actually, know that much about it," she admitted. "Mr. Deadpool used to kind of be my mentor, though. He's the one who helped teach me the importance of self-defense."

"I remember you telling me that and I think that is so sweet. He seems like a nice, if not completely hilarious, person. We had to sing our introductions in class on Monday and I still need to get his gift basket to him. Why is no longer your mentor?"

"Oh, that's right!" Turtle said. "I forgot us talking about the gift basket. And the chimichangas. Got to remember the Il Loco Burrito coupon, definitely."

Avoiding the question? What question?

"I totally haven't forgotten the Loco Burrito Coupon," she giggled. "I would get him a few if I didn't think he would think I was one of those type of kids." She was totally one of those types; wanting the teacher to like her best. "Anyway, what happened with him as your mentor?"

Turtle, as one of those types of kids completely understood how that went, and she also seemed to be half-deaf all of a sudden, as if the last part of what Elle had said didn't exist in her field of hearing. "Yeah, definitely don't want to overdo it," she agreed. "Are you planning on getting gift baskets for any of the other teachers, Elle?"

Elle blinked and wondered if her question wasn't being heard properly but she'd ask again later. "Sure! I paid a visit to Professor Dukes earlier today with a fruit basket, you know with him being a physical fitness instructor." It was just that he was so... so... extra super large.

"Ugh," Turtle wrinkled her nose. "Phys ed. So not a fan. I had to take it before, so I'm glad it's now out of the way."

"I enjoy working out but apparently we are going to be running an obstacle course which makes totally no sense whatsoever, omigod."

"At least," Turtle offered, "an obstacle course might be interesting. A lot better than just running laps."

"If not totally hard," she said. "I'm so not the Army type and running laps is super fine with me. I don't want to pop a knee out, or hang upside down over mucky muddy water while trying to slide across a rope. Seriously."
