By now, Ender had identified whatever was going on with him as the raging hormones that they were. He still didn't like it; the indirectness of the itch, the way it made him flush for no reason at all, was troubling. This morning, Karla had woken up with the odd desire to wear something...silky. Soft. Black. So she was wearing the same set of Widow's Weeds that she'd worn for the multicultural fair; the thin fabric rustling against her and splitting as she moved, so every now and again, her legswould show as she walked. Karla had no idea why she wanted to wear this, but she did.

Well. The clothes were a little hard to ignore, as was the girl inside them.

"My lady," Romeo said, by way of greeting as he set the cigarette he was lighting to the side. "Good day."

"Good morning, my lord," Karla smiled. Normally she'd be a bit perturbed by being approached by a strange male, but this one was cute and spoke like a proper Kaeleeran. Karla was charmed. "I'm Karla. And I'm fairly certain you don't call this world yours." She dimpled at him.

He'd never found a better way to explain it, anyhow.
