4th Floor Common Room, Post Un-zombiefying

Marco was half passed out on a couch in the common room. The problem with being a wolf all day was that he kept having to re-morph and wolves used different muscles then humans. The result was that he felt like he had run about forty miles and was refusing to move.

Jen wasn't going to apologize to anyone if the fifth floor was out of hot water, not right now. Freshly showered and dressed in sweats (black, actually, there's a shocker) and a t-shirt (that was pink, so the world wouldn't end), she stalked down one floor to avoid the wrath of similarly hygiene-needy floormates and flopped onto the couch.

"Being an animal sucks. Being a whole bunch of them is worse."

"God, what a weekend," Jen groaned, closing her eyes. "And so close to finals, too."

"Right. Finals." Marco said after a very long pause where he tried to remember what classes he was in.

Jen's priorities were kind of skewed.

"At least I didn't miss Racerranger," she added, sprawling out a little on the couch. Oooh, that was comfy.

See? Skewed.

"What's that?" Marco had no problem with those priorities.

"It's a TV show I watch on Saturdays?" Jen had no shame about this, actually. "Lots of gratuitous explosions. Reminds me of home, actually."

"Awesome. Sounds like something I would watch. Where's home?"

"Good question," Jen said, blinking; that had just occurred to her that she didn't really know. "Originally? Millennium City, in the year 3000. Now, I'm not really sure."

Marco considered this statement. "How can you not be sure?"

"Because I'm not going back there?" Jen shrugged. "I know where I'm going, after I leave here. I'm just not sure if it'll be home."

"...What?"

Jen eyed him askance. "Do you need things explained to you often, or are you just burned out from this weekend?"

"I think I'm good." Marco said, deciding to drop it.

"'kay," Jen said, too tired to push anyway. "Naptime now?"

"Naptime now." Marco nodded. "I"d make an awesome lol cat."

Jen snickered. "Wish someone had pictures of our team out there. The captions you could put on Professor Deadpool . . ."
