Second Floor Common Room, Saturday Morning

Molly had no idea what she was doing up this early, but decided to celebrate by wandering into the common room to get a bowl of cereal and glass of juice before she figured out what to do with the rest of her weekend

Malcolm wandered in, head tilted back and mouth open as he studied the hallway and the common room in very apparent wonder.

"Woooooooooooooow," he said. "They remodeled the school overnight!"

Molly glanced over, then frowned. She didn't know the guy, but he did look kind of familiar. This was going to bug her all day. "No, they didn't."

"Then why does it look all different?" Malcolm wondered.

"Maybe you're on the wrong floor? Where do you usually live?"

"Aha!" The Count declared as he entered a room different than the others. "More things to count!"

"Knock yourself out," Molly offered, waving a hand around the room. She didn't know what was going on, but her weird-o-meter was finally going off.

"One, one teenager." He started with the kids in the room.

Black Canary was heading toward the lobby of the dormitory she'd found herself in, hopefully to find a phone and information on where she was. On her way down the stairwell she heard voices, and paused, considering, then went into the Second Floor Common Room.

Teenagers; so at least the information from the operator about this being a boarding school seemed consistent.

She nodded to the students in the room. "Good morning. Could you tell me who is in charge of this dormitory?"

"Uh, hi," Molly answered, then tried to think of the answer. "Um. Either Principal Washburn or Dean Deadpool?"

Black Canary blinked at that last name, but decided its weirdness might not have any significance, and nodded. "Thank you. I'm Black Canary, I'm with the Justice League. Have you noticed anything strange here at your school in the last 24 hours? Explosions, light shows, earthquakes, portals, anything that could be taken as strange natural phenomenon?"

No reason to panic the girl, but if she'd witnessed anything, it'd be better to know before searching out the Principal or Dean.

Weird name. "Nope. Do you ask this every time you enter a room, or are you just taking a survey?"

Marco had woken up in a strange room with a lot of strange things and his clothes. Who wouldn't blame the boy for being a bit jittery? "Um...hi?"

"Hello," Black Canary nodded, giving him a careful look. "Are you a student here?"

Marco was a bit mesmerized by the outfit. "Yes?" He figured it was the safe answer. "No?" Unless it wasn't. "Um..."

"Are you unsure?" she asked, keeping her tone kind. "There's been a rash of appearances and disappearances, apparently. I'm Black Canary, with the Justice League."
