It was the same dream that had woken Ichigo up way too early that morning and the same voice laughing inside of his head. Rather than lie awake and stare up at the ceiling, he'd slipped out of bed, pulled on his clothes and he grabbed the first manga book from his desk that he could reach before he slipped outside. He'd only realised he'd forgotten

Jack decided that breakfast was a necessity. That noise in the background? Him rifling through the fridge.

"Get me something to drink, will you?" Ichigo shouted at whoever was in the kitchen. If they were going to make noise near him, they might as well make themselves useful.

"You want milk?" he asked, grabbing the carton.
...
"Scratch the milk." He poured it out.

Ichigo blinked and looked up from his book. "Orange juice?" he suggested.
