The Deck, Thursday Morning

Oct 17, 2008 00:42

Wendy had been planning on going for a morning jog, a plan soon scuttled by the rain of coloured rocks. Not so much because she had an objection to running in the odd but painless rain as that she'd rapidly gotten distracted by the effects of the rocks on her person ( Read more... )

Lola totally lacked an appropriate colored icon thanks to not having photoshop on the mun's work computer wandered out onto the deck a bit carefully.

She'd certainly had plenty of time to get used to Fandom in all its absurdity, but this . . . .

"This is new."

"Did they? Is it blue? I have been thinking of trying blue hair."

"Blue? But it's red."

A mauve rock decided to sneak in under Jack's less-than-spectacular defenses and pelted him in the shoulder. He tried to blow the dust away. It didn't work. "Oh, come on," he grumbled.

"You must give yourself up for pink," Lola advised. "And ja, blue. It has been red for too long."

"Blue would look nice. Better'n pink," he declared, lowering the chair slightly.

"Or maybe yellow?" Lola suggested. "Then I could get color that cleans -- nein . . . rinses -- out. And have a new color any day."

Jack was facepalming. Really. Just.... yeah. "Tell me it's not as bad as it seems?" he pleaded, feeling more rocks hit him.

"Yellow would be interesting. There's that saying, 'Blondes have more fun', you know."

"Nie, of course not." Lola might've sounded a little bit like she was humoring him. "Or a pink-head."

Jack grumbled. "It's pink, isn't it?" He pulled at his hair. It was pink.

"Ja. It's a good color on you."

And that was another facepalm. "Pink is not my color. Maybe blue."

And that was when he was socked with more blue, just out of spite.

"Real men," Lola said. "Wear pink hair."

"I guess I must be a real man," he said, putting his hands on his hips, the chair defense forgotten. "Tell me this washes out."

Pok! His forehead and right eye were now purple.
