5th Floor Common Room, Tuesday evening

With Liir's help, the common room was transformed into a vivid party room. Purple streamers were hung, balloons in every color were tied around, some left loose to pop or kick like some people liked to do (not her, geeze), and HAPPY BIRTHDAY INO! was everywhere.

Music was going and Amber was adding finishing touches to the gift table; little shiny

Hurley showed up, having run out to get a gift for the birthday girl earlier. Silly things like this, taking him by surprise.

"Hey, Hurley!" Amber greeted cheerfully. "I'm so glad you came. The party was so totally impromptu."

"I didn't even, like, know she had a birthday," Hurley said. "Well, I mean, everyone has a birthday, just... didn't know it was so soon."

Food/Cake

The cake was the focus of the table, of course, but the rest of the food was just as appetizing.

Chocolate chip muffins, chocolate hazelnut spiced cookies, honey cake, all manner of fresh fruits cut up, crepes with chocolate and bananas and whipped creame. There were also more traditional treats that he'd gone out and gotten: pretzels and chips and a few different dips.

Also up there were all manner of drinks, colas and lemonades. There were so many things to eat or drink that it was entirely moddable almost too much for the table.

All in all, it was certainly a spread. Brotherly duties had definitely been done.

Hurley spent much of his time over by the food table.

Angela stopped to talk to Hurley as she picked up a slice of that cake. Who cared about dip when there was that? It was so adorable and flowery.

"Hey, fellow '94...-er," she greeted, picking one of the flowers to eat. "Still settling in okay?"

Amber had a large gift bag full of tissue paper. A lot of tissue paper. Plus a few more things as well. There was also a twenty-five dollar gift certificate tucked down inside the bag, for Turtle & Canary.

Yes, Amber knew the gifts she picked out were oddly cute. Ino ought to love them. She hoped.
