Chris woke up early and headed to the kitchenette to make coffee. He wasn't thinking too much about the fact that it was his seventeenth birthday. Well, okay, if you wanted to be technical, it would only be his fifth birthday. Stupid time travel

Hinata knocked lightly on the cabin door, hoping she wasn't too early and wouldn't disturb anyone, or that she didn't have the wrong cabin by mistake and that, hopefully, she wouldn't make an entire fool out of herself.

She steeled herself for the worst and quietly hoped that, if she was extremely lucky, Ino-san would open the door.

Chris opened the door and smiled at the girl standing there. "Hey," he said. "I don't think anyone else is awake yet."

Of course she wasn't that lucky. At least it was only one person, and well, he was smiling so that at least meant that she hadn't misstepped too wrong yet.

"A-ano," she flushed and tried not to stammer too badly, "Ino-san i-is normally up by this t-time." At least she had been back home, and up for hours already. Hinata was rapidly coming to the conclusion that people around here tended to sleep in far more than anyone back home. "S-sorry for disturbing you."

"It's okay," Chris said. "You're not disturbing me. I actually think Ino is out somewhere. Do you want to come in for a cup of coffee?"

Mac was all about the caffeine, especially since she really isn't a natural morning person. She was already clutching a mug when she wandered into the cabin living area.

She waved to Chris as she came in, greeting him with a probably pretty dozy-sounding, "Morning".

"Morning," Chris greeted. "How's it going?"

Mac shrugged, fiddling around with the coffee for a moment as she considered her answer.

"I got a class where they mock your sex life for kicks," she said. "Other than that? Pretty okay.... You?"

"Oh, that sounds... like it sucks a lot," Chris said. "How'd you end up in there?"
