Karal wasn't quite sure how this had happened (it wasn't as if he could swim in any credible way), but here he was, dressed in swimming things, waiting for Evey. It felt very odd wearing only shorts and a shirt when it was the next thing to freezing outside, but at least it was warm in here ( Read more... )

Evey was immensely happy that she'd packed her swimsuit with her belongings, and didn't have to try to negotiate swimming in something less or more. She'd worn a loose skirt and top over it, which felt strange in the middle of February, and made her way down.

She found the pool with no trouble, smiling at Karal when she caught sight of him. "Hello."

"Evey." Karal scrambled to his feet, smiling warmly as he walked over to her, stepping carefully, because slipping over on wet feet would not be a good idea. "Hello." He reached out to take her hand.

She slipped her hand into his, smiling at him. "Hi. I found the pool!"

It made him laugh, or maybe that was just being with Evey again, and he squeezed her hand. "As did I," he said. "I've never been here before."

Mister Doom made his way to the pool wearing green swim trunks covered in the "D" that was the symbol of Doom's revolution in Latveria.

The trunks were on over his armor, of course.

When he arrived, he went up to the diving board, took a running start, and yelled "CANNONBALL OF DOOM!" as he leaped into the water.

Doom would have spent more time around the water, but his armor made swimming rather difficult.

Instead, he went back to his room, dripping water from his armor, satisfied with his perfect Cannonball of Doom.
