Third Floor Common Room: Evening

Katara had a whole bunch of packets of "gourmet" and flavoured hot chocolate.

And a whole lot of almost-boiling water.

There was, perhaps, going to be a taste testing in a few minutes.

A.J. was bored and restless and therefor wandering for interesting things to do, which meant poking his head into common rooms.

"...is that chocolate?"

Some people just had a sharpened sense for these sorts of things, it seemed. And here he thought he didn't have any kind of special powers. Ppssshhh.

Katara looked up with a bright smile. "All different kinds of chocolate!"

"Oooooh." That was definitely enough to pull A.J. strolling into the room. "And I take it that it's all different kinds of chocolate for sharing, yes?"

"Of course," Katara said. "Otherwise how could we compare which is the best?"

Ron wandered into the CR looking for food or something to mooch. "What's that? Hot chocolate? Wicked," Ron said. "Is that just for yourself?"

Cue puppy dog eyes.

[southernbender]

Katara snickered. "How much hot chocolate do you think I can drink, huh? Course it's for sharing."

"Obviously you've never met my brothers," Ron grinned. "They're like bottomless pits."

[southernbender]

"Yes, but I've met my brother," Katara laughed. "Would you like some hot chocolate? I'll share if you don't act like our brothers."

[inthereflexes]

Jack's sniffer broughthim to the third floor. "...chocolate?"

[southernbender]

"Yep! Hot chocolate taste test," Katara replied happily.

[inthereflexes]

"Count me in!" Jack said excitedly.

[bed now!]

"So what kind do you want to try first?" she asked. "Regular, rich, dark, raspberry, double chocolate, or mint. Ron drank the spicy."

Ronan wandered into the third floor common room, some seventh sense indicating that there might be something worthwhile if he were to come down. "Hey, Katara," he said, smiling. "What's up- is that chocolate?"

Worthwhile, indeed, young wizard!

[southernbender]

"It is an excess of chocolate!" Katara said happily. "Come in, Ronan, help me drink it."

[hotceltogoth]

"There is no such thing as an excess of chocolate," Ronan said, with complete certainty, "but if you're offering, then I am perfectly happy to help drink it! Got anything spicy?"

[southernbender]

Katara made a face. "You can have it! Chocolate is not supposed to be spicy." As she talked, she found the other packets of spicy and filled a cup with hot water for him.
