Yes, she was getting sick. It really didn't matter right now because SNOW! Annett saw it blanketing the ground when she looked out her bedroom window this morning. She'd just double up on the NyQuil later.
So, hands shoved in her coat pockets, she was wandering outside, looking for the perfect place to make snow angels.
"This is so great," she chimed in, staring up at the beautiful snowy sky. "Cold, but too much fun to pass up, just staring at it from your bedroom window. Too bad we don't have any flavors, we could totally make snowcones."
"I bet there's people here who could make flavours," Ino said dreamily, "that'd be so fun! Tossing a strawberry snowball at people, imagine their surprise!"
"Ooh, they're so yummy. I love the blue! And the cotton candy flavor, and I wish I had one now." She chuckled. "They would eat it instead of get all 'Ooooh! You hit me with a snowball!'. I know I would."
"They had better! Or we'd just pretend to cry at them until they changed their minds. We could look really, really pathetic if we tried." Ino looked over at Annette, and frowned slightly, "You feeling okay?"
"I can look pathetic. Just ask Dick, I'm sure he'll tell you," she said. No, she didn't feel good. She was actually pale looking with her lips tinged blue and she was shivering, her teeth rattling. "Yeah, I'm good. Just cold," she lied. She didn't want to ruin Ino's fun.
"I think some hot chocolate sounds good though. Think I might go make some and come back to play in a little while."
"Shoo!" Ino said encouragingly, sitting up and wrinkling her nose, "You look like you're freezing! Just make sure not to drink all the hot chocolate! Or I'll bring the snow war inside to get you back!"
"Okay, I'm going - and no snow war inside!" she laughed. "There will be plenty of hot chocolate left over!" Especially since Annette was planning on falling right into bed.
"See you~!" Ino called, already going to look for her next target. "And an inside snow war would be fantastic!" She didn't really expect an answer, as she darted off for more people to snowball.
