After the hug, Mikey snatched up the head and started scrubbing at it again, humming happily as he worked. Pizza stained, after all.

"So, how's stuff been, anyhow? Did I miss anything totally awesome while I was away?"

"Oh, man, 'bummer' doesn't even begin to cover that..." Mikey was going to put forth an admirable effort toward not getting sniffly, here. It would be tough, but he was certain he could pull it off. "Anything, you know, not sad?"
