2nd Floor Common Room [Sunday, Afternoon]

Shawn hadn't had a good lazy Sunday like this in far too long. Several weeks in the NTAC facility had really eaten into his summer relaxation time.

He'd made a conscious decision to do as little as possible today, which is why he was lounging on a sofa in the common room reading a large book and picking at a packet of chips and some guacamole dip

Johnny sauntered in and headed straight for the kitchen. Poking his head in the fridge, he grabbed a water bottle and an apple.

Finding a comfy chair, he glanced at the TV, then at Shawn who he thought he might have met? He couldn't quite remember but he didn't want to interrupt his reading time.

Shawn wasn't quite deeply involved enough to miss someone coming in. He waved a greeting as he leaned forward to snag another tortilla chip from the bowl on the table.

"Feel free to change the channel if you want, man," he said.

"You sure? Thanks, man," he said with a wry grin and grabbed the remote, flipping through the channels until he came to ESPN. Taking a bite of his apple he nodded over at Shawn's book. "Good one?"

"It's... appropriate for me," Shawn said with a chuckle. "Picked it up before I came back here, thinking maybe it'd help me make sense of a few things."

Summer had been on the second floor, hoping to find Shawn. She didn't have to go very far it seemed. "Hey you."

Shawn recognised that voice, and had a grin on his face before he even looked up from his book.

"Hey." He gestured, inviting her over to sit with him. "My Sunday, just got even better."

"Glad to hear it," Summer said, taking a seat beside him. "What are you reading?"

"Something written by one of the other 4400's," Shawn replied, holding it up for her to see. "Actually met the guy once."
