Fifth Floor Common Room, Wednesday Night

Aug 29, 2007 23:47

Naminé wandered down to the fifth floor common room and flipped through the channels, hoping to find something on.

Five minutes later, she was giggling a bit madly. She wasn't sure she understood this Bitterwoman show, but it was certainly fun.

Lucas' stuff was packed and he was headed to the roof when he heard the noise in on the fifth floor. Roof forgotten, he walked in and took a seat. "Which episode is this?"

"Hello there," Naminé smiled at the newcomer. "I'm afraid I don't know, I've never seen this show before. Someone calling herself Lioness has kidnapped the heroine and is threatening her with her own whip, I think?"

"That describes about half of the episodes, so at least we've narrowed it down a little. Don't you have Bitterwoman where you come from?" He couldn't imagine many people not having seen it before if they had access to TV.

"I'm afraid not," she laughed, shaking her head. "Or possibly we did and I never noticed it. I haven't seen much television. Are you a fan of the series, then?"

Molly was on her way to the kitchen for a soda and grinned at the giggling girl she didn't think she'd met yet. "Good show?" she asked.

Naminé laughed. "Very! Perhaps not in the way they intended. They stopped the last fight scene so Bitterwoman could shake out her hair in slow-motion. Lovely hair, I must say, but I think if I were fighting dangerous ninjas, I wouldn't worry so much about it."

Molly went over and leaned over the back of the couch. "Yeah, this show is great, but not big on the realism." She looked at Naminé again, recognizing her after all. "I'm sorry, I think we met at the beginning of the summer because I'm seeing you outside a cabin, but I can't remember your name."

"It's quite all right, I'm afraid I can't place you either," she confessed. "My name is Naminé. Was it the cabin that had been covered in glitter? I saw that one evening and it was exquisite."

Marco wasn't really watching where he was going, which is how he wound up one floor higher than his own. "Wait till the lobsters come out."

"There are lobsters?" Naminé laughed. "Are they dangerous, enemy lobsters? Or powerful friends of Bitterwoman's who appear to save the day? I would imagine enemies, but I'd hate to slight lobsters, you know."

"Life size lobsters." Marco said with a straight face. "I mean, lobsters our size. There's good lobsters. And the token good lobster gone bad."

"What a pity there isn't a lobster rehabilitation program," Naminé said with a playful smile. "To save that one lobster who just fell in with the wrong crowd. It's happened to the best of us, you know."
