Third Floor Common Room, Tuesday, After Workshops

Dawn was making herself dinner. Or, really, she was gathering dinner, since at this exact moment, it seemed to consist of potato chips, jelly beans, peanut butter, and some carrot sticks.

For the nutrition, of course.

Anyone who wanted to make something real would probably be very welcome.

Molly was looking for Dawn today and poked her head into the common room before heading down the hallway. "DAWN!" she called in surprise when she saw her and bounced into the room.

"I didn't do--" she denied immediately as she whirled around, "Oh, never mind. What's up?"

Molly bounced over to Dawn and hugged her, even picking her up a bit. "I am in so much trouble, Dawn!" Whatever it was, she didn't sound too upset about it.

"Eeep!" Dawn squealed as her feet left the floor, but then started giggling, since Molly didn't seem worried. "Trouble? Is it coming here?"

Mel wandered into the common room looking more chipper than she had been in days. "Now that looks like a home spun dinner. No Twinkies?"

"Oooh, thank you!" Dawn said, rummaging through cupboards, "I knew I forgot something. You look like you're in a good mood."

"Had a good weekend. Camping? Totally rocketship," Mel said with a smirk. "I had S'mores. Which are also rocketship. And roasted hotdogs on a fire. Rocketship."

Mel snagged a carrot and flopped on the couch.

"All in all? Rocketship. Did I mention the weekend was rocketship?"

"Like you were working for NASA," Dawn grinned. "Any particular reason, or just a food coma?"

Dawn waved at the new guy--or the guy she just didn't recognize--but didn't say anything since her mouth was full of potato chips.

"Hey," she said, once she'd swallowed her mouthful, "I'm Dawn. Are you new?"

Willow was in a hanging out in common rooms kind of mood. "Hey Dawnie. What's cooking?"

"Nothing!" She said proudly, displaying her junk food-o-rama. "Want some?"

"Oooo - potato chips and jelly beans!" Willow said as she looked at the inventory. "Yes please!"

"Dinner of champions," she said, dipping the chip in peanut butter, then adding a jelly bean. "Help yourself. How're you?"

Wandering common rooms was a good way to meet new people. One of the things Kabuto needed to do was meet more people; you couldn't learn anything about them if you didn't meet them

"...Does that actually pass for food?" Kabuto asked curiously, eyeing what Dawn was putting together.

"Quite well, actually," she told him, "Junk food, but you've got your salty, your sweet, your sticky, and your crunchy. All you need is fizzy and we've got a well-balanced meal."

"And it doesn't make you sick?" The ninja raised both eyebrows, smiling slightly. "Are you human?"

"That's what it says on my birth certificate," she grinned, "Want to try?"
