Basilisk Campfire, Sunday Early Afternoon

Cooking food of any type on a stick over a fire pit would never stop being fun for Teddy. In his own defense, he did grow up in New York and had never gone camping before this.

He was making up for lost time.

Teddy grinned and held up a bag of marshmellows. "I have those too, but new foods must be tried."

"Hey, Teddy." Considering the whole ordeal that had just been concluding with being snuck up on in the woods and stabbing and what have you, Chad thought it might be best to greet Teddy before his arms wrapped around his waist from behind as Chad leaned in to give him a kiss on the cheek.

Which was okay as long as Teddy did it lightly and a little to the left. "Breakfast?" he asked, fully aware of what time it was, but, hey, he'd just gotten up. First meal of the day was still breakfast.

Nodding, Teddy held up bacon on a stick. "I've mastered the meat products. Everything else... not so much."

There very well might be a small pile of burned bread and vegetables half in the fire.
