One workshop on explosions, one more day spent avoiding Luke and Gavin's back at the campfire. He's not hiding this time, but he's still prepared to run should anyone mention quarters or tigers or 'angels

It wasn't as if Setsuna wanted to spend a lot of time near her own cabin right now anyway, but she did notice that she'd drifted here again and sighed. At least it seemed to have been a few days...
"Japan?" Setsuna answered, tilting her head and making it her own question as if to ask the extend to Gavin's knowledge of the planet's geography. "It's an island country off the mainland of Asia, which is approximately on the other side of the world. Japan itself is fairly north, but the nearby South Seas island are quite tropical."
The other side of the world helped his mental picture. "I've been having people tell me where things are so I can put things together. I know Texas, New York, Kansas, and now Japan. What's the other side of the world like?"
"The people are very different there," Setsuna said after a moment. "Clearly, we tend to look like anime characters a little different, too, but the culture stands out a lot, I feel. I think I've been assimilating well into American culture, though..."
"I don't know how well I'm doing fitting in," Gavin admitted. "It's very...different from where I'm from. Not the different people but the different ways."
"Okay, so...." Setsuna couldn't help a small chuckle herself, "pretty much the same thing that most people find different about here. So, if those things haven't driven you away, I think your adaptability skills are strong enough to take it."
"Apparantly not," Setsuna gave a faint smile back, "as I'm back now. It did seem to slack a bit, but I think perhaps it was just due to other obligations keeping me from being idle..."
"Not...quite," Setsuna admitted, truthfully, because part of her was wondering if she just seemed to turn up here when she was distressed, because... "Things were going well for a while. She sighed a little, certain Karal didn't need to hear about her problems, but, well, he did ask, and she needed to vent. "Remember that friend I mentioned to you? Well, we seem to be at it again. I just can't win with her, it seems..."
"I am sorry, Setsuna," he said with a long sigh. "It is hard to be at odds with a friend. May I ask what the conflict about?" He smiled reassuringly at her, one hand held out in an invitation to talk. "It might be that telling another will help you find a way through this."
