Outside Pixie Cabin--Afternoon

May 11, 2007 13:32

Once she finally hauled herself and her stuff down to Pixie cabin (which, she was sorry, still felt a bit wrong), Sam, dressed in shorts and a tank top, stretched out on a lawn chair with a large glass of iced tea and a few physics journals to soak in the sun.

Karal, having winnowed his few belongings down to even fewer, had decided to leave the room to his unexpected roommate and go down to the cabins. Of course, he did this by skirting around the edges of the camp ground as much as possible and looking at the ground.

Altra was walking beside him, keeping an eye out for potential danger. Pity he wasn't watching for other things, or Karal might have had some warning before he found himself staring at the almost naked blonde woman. He knew it was rude, he could feel a slow, deep blush spreading over his body, but he couldn't seem to stop.

Sam couldn't help but feel watched. She lowered her journal, and spotted what must have been a new student, and smiled at him. "Are you lost?"

The blush had completely engulfed his face, her smile only making it worse because she was very attractive, and he stopped staring with an effort. So little clothing. "I don't know," he replied, deciding the ground was a very safe place to look. "I think I might be. I was looking for somewhere called Chupacabra cabin?"

"Chupacabra? I'm sorry, I don't know it." Sam was clueless, still not used to the new cabin names, and not sure why the boy was staring at the ground. She got up and touched him lightly on the arm in concern, "Are you okay?"

Rucksack thrown over a shoulder, D carried a box in both hands down to her new cabin.

She stopped when she saw Sam, "So, s'it just me or does this feel like it needs more signs and glitter?"

Sam grinned, "I'll give you ten bucks if you manage to get Charlie to walk around shirtless."

"Kawalsky?" D laughed. "You're on! Sounds like a perfect summer project."

"We won't be here for the whole summer," she said sadly, "maybe another week or so, if that. You'll have to work fast."
