Third Floor Common Room, Saturday Morning

It was with great seriousness that Zachary Uriah Addy made his way to the common room, dragging a cart piled almost as high as he was with books and pieces of lab equipment behind him

Lack of interesting activities had driven River from the 5th floor. She had recalled having seen an interesting book collection in a room on the second floor, and had mananged to get into said room she'd found a couple of interesting ones that she now carried under her arm.

It had caught her attention that the third floor common room was being transformed into a temporary lab, however. She peeked inside, and sneaked up behind Zack. "Need assistance?" she asked hopefully.

Zack started at the sound of River's voice and stared at her with wide eyes for several moments, before smiling and offering River the book, pointing to a massively complicated diagram. "I'm making this."

River took the book and tilted her head, studying the diagram. She gave a quick nod. "We could modify it a little," she suggested, picking up some pieces to go in the top part. "Make it hover over the floor."

Zack's smile got even wider. "Coooool."

Turtle had a very busy day ahead of her! First order of business was, of course, breakfast, as she went wandering in hopes to find somewhere without parents so she could have a good breakfast before her mother could find her and make her have oatmeal or something. It ran the risk of missing her daddy's flapjacks, but it would be a worthy risk.

Her head tilted at the something that looked like it was going to be assembled.

Zack looked up at Turtle and waved shyly.

Turtle waved back,but her wave seemed distracted.

"What'cha makin'?"

"It's gonna hover."

Willow, perhaps drawn by the call of science, peered into the room.

She hung back though. She didn't want to interrupt and be in the way.

"Willow!" Mel called out. "Hi! Ya wanna watch cartoons?!"

"Mel!" Willow waved at her. "Hi! Is Bitterwoman on?"

"What's a bitter woman?" Mel asked scratching her head.

Mel ran into the room in a very bouncy manner. "Hi everyone! Hi! Hi! Hi!"

Zack smiled shyly to Mel.

"Hi Zack!" Mel waved. "Are you building your robot army of DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM?"

Zack shook his head. "But we're gonna make this hover!"

Katara zoomed into the Common Room. "Hi! I want ice cream!"

"Ooo! Me too! Me too!" Mel shouted back.

"Can you reach the freezer?" Katara asked logically. She looked up, up, up to it then started to try to drag a chair over to stand on.

"Can get up there!" Mel shouted and ran over to the counter next to the fridge and started to climb up it.
