Sammy, Dawn and Jo all had class this morning, which left Dean more or less in charge of the entire tribe

Etienne had woken up really early and had tried sneaking out of the room, but his possibly half-sister had woken up to and insisted on coming with him. So now two dark haired kids were on the search for coffee and food.

Giuliana entered the common room ahead of Etienne. "We hafta have coffee," she announced importantly to the room at large. "It's 'portant."

"Aren't you a little young for coffee?" Dean asked.

[weetinygavins]

"I'm almost ten," Etienne said, folding his arms. He was glaring, but with all that hair in front of his eyes it could be hard to tell.

John had been given the choice between hanging with his dad and all the other kids, or going to class with his mom and Uncle Sammy. Naturally he was here, since class was boring.

"I can help," John offered from down by his dad's elbow.

"Yeah?" Dean said, glancing at him. "You want a job?"

"Okay," he said, then asked hopefully, "Something with knives, maybe?"

Dean chuckled. "You're definitely a Winchester. How about you break some eggs for me first and we'll see about sharp metal objects after that?"

"Ice cream, ice cream, ice cream!" Joy chanted, bouncing a little.

See this was why Sammy should never be put in charge of feeding children. "Not for breakfast," he told his neice firmly.

Joy stopped bouncing and looked up at uncle Dean with huge eyes. "Why not?"

"Because ice cream isn't a breakfast food," Dean explained.

[weechesters]

Kelly could only be distracted by the TV for so long, so he wandered over to Dean and peered up at him. "What are you making?"

"How about some omelettes?" Dean said. "And," he glanced over at Jake and Joy, "apparently milkshakes. You wanna help?"

"Not really," he said, smirking. "But I will anyway. I don't know how to make milkshakes though."

[weechesters]

"Dad's good at that," Jake put in.

Mikey had wandered upstairs, Catie following him wearing some of Mom's shoes.

Clump clump clump

"She's gonna want those back," he told her.

"Hi," said Etienne cautiously to the new kids. "Are you here for coffee too?"

"I'm allergic," Mikey said, shrugging, "But sure! This is my little sister. Sort of. Except I don't have one. I'm Michael."

"You drink coffee even though you're allergic?" Etienne asked. He nodded towards Giuliana. "That's my sort of little sister. I'm Etienne."
